I've had a few but here's one: I was 10 yrs old, had never been away from my parents other than school or grandma's house. Was having sharp pains from appendicitis, as well as vomiting and diarhea. They take me to another room (no parents allowed), give me a rectal exam and whisk me away to the operating room. I was laying there thinking, "I dont know these people. My parents don't know these people. They're going to kill me". Then they put a mask on my face and tell me to breathe deeply. I felt like I was drowning. I was actually pretty darn surprised that I was alive when I came to.
On march 19 Of this year I went for a cold knife bioxy, the doctor cut on the wrong place, I started bleeding, my blood pressure went down, they put me a medication that I was allergic and I had a heart attack and I'm only 33, I have a lawyer checking the medical record. She did not even did the right job.. And today I had it done again but in LIJ and thanks to god everything went perfect.
When my daughter was 5 & fractured her skull.They were trying to do an MRI,w/out putting her to sleep.The nurse was none to say not so nice,grabbed my daughter by the soulders started to yell & scream at her & shake her (fractured skull).My husband literally grabbed the nurse & pushed her away from my daughter.She's 27 today & still rememebers that incident@ Childrens Hospital.We did speak to HR & she was disciplined.Thanks for listening.
